BATTLE 4 – RACE TO DEATH: Summoner vs. Wolverine

This is one of those pages that you rarely see in mainstream comics where an artist just goes for it, taking Ben Percy’s script and suggestions and creating something absolutely incredible and unforgettable.

As you can see from the process pictures which Josh sent me, it is in fact a 4 panel page but a series of full bleeds to show the collapsed realities of Blightspoke, starting at the top with a full on fight in sub-zero conditions (much like where Ben Percy lives, judging by his posts on social media!), bleeding into shattered mirror pieces in panel 2, then a panel showing them being attacked by bugs and just trying to survive, and then finishing in panel 4 with them fighting in a reality of floating stones and god-like heads.

Pure awesomeness! And such a great addition to my X of Swords collection and my Gallery of X! Thanks again Josh!
