DescriptionGene Ha came to my attention with his work on the Alan Moore title Top 10. I met Gene at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle when he was promoting his creator-owned project Mae. I chatted with the artist at his booth and bought a Batgirl/Barbara Gordon in the library print. Gene told me his wife Lisa is a librarian.Oddities and Apocrypha From the Files of Gene Ha is available from the cartoonistfs Etsy shop. The order form asked for my favorite character and I wrote Marvel Girl from the X-Men. Gene added this color drawing. The book includes a wonderful Mouse Guard comic, pages from an unrealized Bill Willingham project, some published illustrations, and a sketch section.Social/Sharing |
