Mighty Comics 41, Reinterpertation

Needless to say I was bowled over with this reinterpretation. Mike Machlan chose the characters to replace the Shield and the Black Hood. His choice of the Web was superb, he is my second favorite MLJ character, I think he has the neatest costume.
Mike told me he was a big fan of the MLJ characters and I did not have to take him at his word since you can see he actually drew the Web's boots as they were designed in the books from the 40s!
As for choosing Inferno, there is something about the simplicity of the uniform I really like. It is a great take on the characters with Mike blending his style with Paul Reinmans as you can see from his depiction of the character's opponents.
