Rick and Morty Vs. Dungeons & Dragons #4 PG. 13

As a Rick and Morty fan, I of course wanted something original from the series, and it helps that I am also a big D&D fan! This was acquired from a kickstarter campaign after discussing some pages with the artist. I think this one is great because it has all the characters all D&D inspired, and has a fun little story to go with it that Troy shared with me (and he gave me permission to share with you)!

From Troy: "It’s also got a story, because Patrick Rothfuss doesn’t usually write for comics and so Jim Zub was helping edit for him. I got the script for this issue and could tell right away Zub didn’t have final pass.
Panel #4, where the secret passage opens - Pat had written something to the effect of “They find a secret door, open it, and go downstairs”. That’s 3 separate panels, not one! And he wanted big panels on the page as well. I’ve only got so much page real estate to work with! Anyway, this is where the artist steps in to make the script work visually as best they can.

So yeah, I like this page and reference that story on occasion. :)"
