DescriptionReceived this great page of original artwork in the mail yesterday from artist Andrew Pepoy. This is from a six page story Pepoy wrote, penciled, inked & lettered for the recent Jetta: Teen Queen of the Galaxy special from Astrocomix.Since July of last year I've been posting Comic Book Cats entries on the Comic Book Historians group and at First Comics News (see link below). Each entry spotlights work by a different artist that includes a cat on the page or in the image. Pepoy, who himself has two cats, was following Comic Book Cats. He drew in a cat on this page of the story getting sucked into the black hole so that I could feature his work in a future entry. (Don't worry, the cat makes it out of the black hole safely! 😺) Pepoy offered me the opportunity to purchase the original art for this page. It looks even more amazing in person. Great page. Especially meaningful with the cat. Congrats. Wonder what Hawking would of thought about the vacuum solution.
