DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Errol McCarthy is an artist/illustrator noted for his work on Peterson Publishing titles Hot Rod Cartoons, CARtoons and Cycletoons as well as for his later work on popular toylines like Hot Wheels and Masters of the Universe. Offered here is 17.5x25" artboard w/applied sheet of vellum that features pen and ink original art and cut-out stats for two-page "Dragsters Of The World" feature published in 1970s Peterson Publishing title (either Hot Rod Cartoons of CARtoons). "The Italian Dragster" is mostly stat portions (as seen in repeated portions of immense engine design) w/original art for engine block component at right, cockpit and art around front wheels. Art is surrounded by extensive hand-lettered text paste-overs and vellum sheet has aged at margins, which show some scattered wear. McCarthy has signed below front of dragster. Fine/VF overall.
