John Totleben is a comic artist known for his work on DC Comics' Swamp Thing Vertigo title, inking Stephen Bissette's pencils as well as providing beautiful painted covers for the series during Alan Moore's iconic run. Offered here is 7x10" illustration board featuring mixed media specialty art showing close-up portrait of Swamp Thing by Totleben. Art was created in 1986 and has been signed/dated by the artist at bottom right. Art was purchased directly from Totleben at the 1986 Chicago Comic-Con. Exc.
