DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Pair of 11.5x14.5" artboards features pen and ink original art w/screentone accents by Dennis Ellefson for complete two-page story published in DRAG Cartoons #16 in June 1965, which was a special Indy 500 issue. Cover story deals w/drag racer trying to qualify for the Indy 500, w/comical hijinks ensuing. Title at top of first artboard is sticker lettering. Bottom left of each artboard has "DRAG" title and issue/page number in black felt tip pen w/small inkstamp at lower right w/penciled information. Second artboard has small spot of surface cut out in front of manager's shocked mouth w/some lt. aging, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. From the Archives of Publisher Pete Millar. Social/Sharing |
