10-5/8x15-7/8" artboard features pen and ink original art by Ron Wilson, inked by John Byrne for The Thing Vol. 1 #2, published by Marvel Aug. 1983. Art is for page 3 and features seven panels, showing The Fantastic Four's Thing cleaning up large mess, squashing tons of wreckage into small ball and dumping it into waste disposal chute. Thing is seen in every panel. Top margin has inked The Thing title and inked issue/page numbers. Back has Marvel copyright stamp and some inking. Top right and bottom corners have been clipped, not affecting art. Bottom left margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by Byrne, who adds inscription. Part of Byrne's inscription/signature blurred due to moisture, which has also caused rippling to bottom three panels of art. Second panel has some ink bleeding due to moisture and right margin has some small scattered spots of moisture staining. Fine overall.
