DescriptionBlack Lightning is apparently a Batman fan as he contemplates his time in Brick City on this dynamic title page. A meeting with the Dark Knight may not be far off? I love how artist Eddie Newell depicted the lightning and sparks shooting out of BL's eyes.Eddie Newell's gritty and detailed pencils suited the 90s relaunch of this character. I think Eddie couldn't make the book's deadlines so a bunch of other artists were brought in to assist on the last few issues. Black Lightning creator Tony Isabella had also left the book by this issue, just like he did on the last issues of the original 70s series. Social/Sharing |
