Description

I commissioned Scott to draw a Cap scene last year. When I did, he was the first artist to ever ask me if I wanted the piece to be done sequentially. I told him I was open to the idea, but he ultimately chose to draw a single image commission in line with my other pieces.

However, the idea sat in my brain for a while. And the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to get sequentially drawn page commissions. So when Scott opened up his list this year, I asked him to pick another scene and give sequentials a go. The result was this storytelling gem.

Wow! It's like the meme that's out there. How much detail do you give to the artist to commission a panel page?

Marcus, none. I tell them to choose their choice of Cap scene and let them do their thing.

Hard to pick a better Cap scene for a sequential commission.

Awesome commission idea! (never even considered a sequential commission before) Loved this moment in the movie, and the elevator shaft along the left side is just a brilliant framing device.
