Description

Black Lightning tries to lend a hand to some immigrants on this page from issue #11. Creator Tony Isabella had left the title by now and Denny O'Neil took over the writing.

Love this early work from Trevor Von Eeden who was only 16-17 years old when he penciled this issue from DC's first solo title to feature an African-American hero. Vince Colletta doesn't get a lot of love from fans but I actually like his fine-pointed inking style here.
