DescriptionOn this 4 panel page - Leia and an Storm Trooper from Alderaan are arguing and it draws in a Rolk-Mahgir - RAARRR!Leia grapples with the duality of an Alderaanian stormtrooper and decides he's not the enemy, so waits to shoot the creature in the last panel. I like the story telling on this page and the creatures are pretty cool. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_86:_The_Alderaan_Factor Social/Sharing |

Fantastic page and I love the bottom panel in particular with the outcropping in the background.

Creature design is amazing. McLeod draws them so lifelike and the organic way they are posed can make you believe they exist on the screen if only in practical effect puppetry. The Palmer inks stay true to this vision and provide a worthy foe capable of posing a threat to Leia and the Stormtrooper. Leia's dilema is shown in the hesitant pose of the 3rd panel, only to be quickly resolved in the next one because after all, she's still a good guy.

Mcleod's pencil (& inks obviously) work has always been extremely solid but his 80s/early 90s work is just superb.
