DescriptionNexus God Con Issue 1 Page 10 by Steve Rude! The year: 2497. The setting: Ylum, Nexus' homeworld. The event: A convention of deities from various races and religions around the galaxy. In response to more than six millennia of prayer, they've gathered to debate the question of why the gods permit so much cruelty, suffering, and death among mortals. And then Evil shows up. Nexus: God Con explores spiritual and theological issues rarely addressed in comics or other media. This page depicts the arrival of Bernice, daughter of Agrippa, the ambassador of Evil - the Lord of the Flies (the Devil). Her arrival is an accompanied by an explosion that tosses God Con attendees asunder. Sundra responds by seeking Nexus. Social/Sharing |

Brings back traumatizing flashbacks to San Diego Comic Con Elite Services goons that will find some way to make your con experience unnecessarily worse than it needs to be. Can't wait to go back...

I found they won't break any fingers for $200 anymore -- the most they will do for that amount is step on your toes.

Nah, these are Elite, the yellow shirts. The poorly paid, poorly trained, and poorly organized crowd control forces on a power trip 5 days out of a year at the San Diego Comic Con. Stand in line in the wrong place and you'll feel their wrath. They'd give you instructions to follow only to have their superior overrule them 5 minutes later and make you the bad guy. They'd give you a hard time for free because they are elite at it.

I get it -- they are akin to the Red shirted nobodies in Star Trek.
