Petrillo's art faithfully recreates and pays homage to the front cover of the 35¢ variant of Star Wars #4, published by Marvel Comics in Oct. 1977, the fourth part in Marvel's adaptation of George Lucas' iconic Star Wars. Cover depicts Obi-Wan Kenobi swinging lightsaber and warning Luke Skywalker against firing blaster at large looming image of Darth Vader as Princess Leia cowers behind Luke. Featuring the same striking color palette as used on the original comic book cover, this presents a visually powerful piece and makes for a one-of-a-kind work of art. NM and ready for display.
