Congrats on winning this auction. Marshall had a distinctive color technique. His Doctor Strange run with Austin was eye popping. My only quibble is the Ditko swirly lines are missing from the cape trim.

By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! What a fantastic illustration of Doctor Strange by the great Marshall Rogers! I love the pose Marshall used here, Doctor Strange with his hands up, as if to ward off something unseen from below! And check out the way his cape is billowing as if a wind or a spell is hitting him! Fantastical use of color--the sickly purple background suggests something poisonous and the dark dripping blacks are suggesting he is in a evil place. Just a great example of Marshall Roger's undeniable skills as a artist. Great pick-up, congrats!
