This is a great page by Alan Davis & Mark Farmer that I picked up at the Motor City Comicon a few years ago. I love the old-school Gene Colan and Neal Adams influences in this piece. And this is just a phenomenal inking job by Mark Farmer.

Their figure and musculature work is just so smooth with the shadows defining them. Definitely a lot of Colan in the way the layout and camera shots are presented. I can see the Adams in the hands as well, but this team has been at it so long that they are influential themselves.

The written sound effects are just as cool as the amazing figure work on this page. So much goodness packed into one piece. Huge congrats!

Some of my favorite work from those too. I've inked a few pieces of Alan Davis, it's fun, but Mark Farmer is his best inker IMO.
