Detective Comics #33 (DC, 2014)

This variant cover, which helped celebrate Batman's 75th Anniversary, really delivers when it comes to eye appeal. Drawn by Silver Age comic legend Jim Steranko, the piece has a familiar scene of The World's Greatest Detective swinging high above the rooftops to stop a handful of would-be criminals, that originally played out 75 years earlier on the cover of Detective Comics #27. Jim Steranko once noted that, "Superman had given DC its strength, but Batman gave it tone. Of course, Superman was more impressive... but Batman was more fascinating."
