Wow, wow, wow. The cover that ushered in the historic runs of volume 2 of The Punisher and Wolverine. The art shows how quickly Jim Lee developed as an artist. Janson's inks really did Lee justice here.

Love seeing these early Jim Lee covers. Amazing how much his style evolved. Klaus inks on Jim is an awesome and a different combo we grew used to seeing from Jim Lee. Killer cover.

I don't know who all these d-leaguers are but that's a pretty sweet Forbush man. Now we know who's really responsible for all the bricks.

Congrats Dino, as a former owner of this cover (like 15-20 years ago) I can attest to how nice it is! But is this really Janson inks? The lines look too clean, maybe I'm nuts lol :D

The theme of the issue may have been "wet and wild," but the theme of this cover image is "stunning and epic!" Major congrats, and Happy Memorial Day Weekend, Dino!

Forbush Man being the old guard wasn't going to stop the deluge of the new busing wide open the Marvel way of doing things, from the visible house style to the royalties system behind the scenes. This could be seen as the harbinger of the comics boom in the 90's!

What a Jim Lee cover Dino. Guns blasting, claws about to be slashing, and a fistful of Namor. I mean it even comes with a Jim Lee brick. BRICKS!!! Awesome piece and love it.
