Inside Out Joy by Andy Beall

      Cartoonist Andy Beall, also known as Kent Mansley on CAF, created a number of pieces to raise money for the Lu Family Fund at Paltown.org. Felix tells the heartbreaking story in >Felix Comic Art podcast episode 39. Andy was interviewed in this Felix Comic Art podcast episode 43. He covers his early years as an animator on the beloved The Iron Giant, his time helping the Charles Schulz family deal with animation after Bill Melendez, and his ongoing work at Pixar Animation Studios. I've corresponded with Andy and met a few times. During Comic Art Live, I purchased some Dan Haskett drawings from him. The Felix Comic Art drop was the first opportunity I had seen to purchase Andy's art. I purchased two out of four requests and am very happy with this Joy from Inside Out.
