Description

Original art for Trading card #3 of the Batman Master Series drawn/painted by Scott Hampton back in 1995.

Here is Scott's description from the back of the card:
"My main goal was to establish the grimness and grayness of Arkham Asylum. While doing that though I still wanted to make the fire behind the Joker bright without outshining him. That's why the fire's colors look so muted."

I am happy with framing the art next to the actual trading card (front and back).

He's leaving out the joke that the shape of the hole in the wall is in the shape of Joker's smile. Finely painted art that gets even more dense when reduced down to a card!
