Bottaro, Luciano - Donald story, 1983.

Luciano Bottaro durante la sua lunga attività di cartoonist, ha esplorato vari campi della comunicazione visiva : dall’illustrazione all’animazione, al mondo delle figurine.
Infatti, tra la fine degli anni ‘70 e l’inizio degli anni ‘80, l’artista rapallese inizia una collaborazione con la Panini di Modena, dando vita a una serie di album di figurine, tutti a tema Disney, molto belli e ricercati.
L’illustrazione qui mostrata, è stata pubblicata nell’album Donald Story del 1983, del quale Bottaro curò oltre ai disegni anche i testi.
Nel disegnare questa illustrazione, Bottaro si ispirò alla sua famosa storia "Zio Paperone e il razzo interplanetario" (vedi foto), pubblicato su Topolino n. 231 del 25 marzo 1960.

During his long career as a cartoonist, Luciano Bottaro explored various fields of visual communication: from illustration to animation, to the world of stickers.
Indeed, between the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s, the Rapallo artist began a collaboration with Panini di Modena, giving life to a series of sticker albums, all Disney-themed, very beautiful and sought after.
The illustration shown here, was published on the album Donald Story in 1983, of which Bottaro edited both the texts and the drawings.
In drawing this illustration, Bottaro was inspired by his famous story "Zio Paperone e il razzo interplanetario" (see photo), published on Topolino n. 231 of 25 March 1960.
