Description

"The Stew was Perfect and There was Plenty of It, The Ogre Counting." Ink on 10.5 x 7.75 illustration board, signed on reverse. Best known for illustrating Winnie-the-Pooh and The Wind in the Willows, this illustration is from Modern Fairy Stories, published in 1955.
