I have always been a fan of Alex Ross, of his instantly recognizable amazing photorealistic drawings.

So I am really happy to have had the possibility to add to my collection this Cover, as it has everything I was looking for from a Alex Ross painting.
Incredible Colors, an iconic pose, an amazing perspective and those beautiful transparency effects for which Ross in one of the best

Ross is the preeminent painted cover artist of our time. Some may think he's too on the nose, but setting the bar and bringing such glory to the heroes is a job that someone has to do.

Totally agree! And he opened the doors (if we can say) to all other amazing painted artists that we have today, such as Simone Bianchi, Dell'Otto, Ribic, etc..

Congrats on getting your Ross example! Lots of boxes checked, as you note! Perfect perspective choice, and the skulls on the top of each side of the throne?! LOVE the touch of how the lower teeth/jaw go right into the engraving design as you move down the chair! Attention to detail, baby :)
