DescriptionI have been a Keown fan since the late 1980s when he worked on Indy comics and then became an even bigger fan when he worked on the Hulk and later Pitt.As a teenager I used to own the cover to Hulk 373 for a few short years. I got it for $75 and sold for $200. With this price as an anchor in my mind it was difficult to buy his art when I got back into buying art a few years ago. I think a lot of folks get anchored to past pricing and this keeps them from picking up certain art. So when this page became available.. I pushed myself past this to be able to have a one and done example by this talented and also super nice artist.and this is it. Thanks as always for checking out my gallery. Social/Sharing |

Impressive page. That top panel is killer! I also love the shadowed face in the last panel and the dark look that gives.

What a sick example of Dale Keown's Hulk! That last panel reminds me of the shadows in the cover to Hulk #377.

First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women... and this page is oh so sweet.

One of the most exciting art runs on this title. Congrats on snagging such a great page from it.

Hmmm, in your availability of item description you say forget about it. Do you have memory issues or are you suggesting we should have? Whatever happened to hope? You cannot live forever...thats it, you are asking everybody to forget about it till you no longer need it!

The working unit of David, Keown, and Farmer reaches a moment of contemplation in their ongoing saga. It is like a cocoon of the time period, a time capsule of the era where we rediscover the magic and the moment of the time where they are locked in. It only takes a glance to see that this collaboration had the power that changed Hulk for the better.

Whenever I see the Hulk, all I can think of is how astronomical his wardrobe bill must be. ;)
This is a really nice Keown page. Congrats.

Oh yes, an outstanding Keown Hulk example! Full figure shot, SO clearly Keown, and you got them deft Farmer inks, too. Glad you were able to check this off the list in such a big way! FS? Fergedaboutit! :) Congrats!

MAN...needless to say I love this page and remember the green foil anniversary issue well. The main story examining the implications on the guy responsible for the gamma bomb going off and creating the Hulk is also very poignant. Huge congrats, man!

Fantastic! I love how Keown give the reader an idea of just how huge the Hulk is compared with a normal human.

Brilliant Hulk image! Keown really captured Hulk's size the best. Farmer's inks complimented Dale's pencils perfectly. Fun Peter David stories too!
