Description

The last page of the series. A very bittersweet moment. You always want your heroes going out on top, looking to the future but here you get the exact opposite feeling. Quasar was always a different type of story, even in superhero books, and this page exemplifies it.

This final end page tribute to the character is wonderful and the inner monlogue is what sells it. When the mid 90's comics bust happened, even titles with 60 issues under their belt had to go. Variations of Quasar would and should show up more with a deep lineup of Avengers to face down cosmic threats.
