I think he's just gotten so much stronger as an artist since his X-Men run.

Gracefully rendered! If he had stayed on the title for a few more years, the Magneto storylines were just around the corner for him.

A beautiful take on the Master of Magnetism by the greatest X-Men artist of them all. Big congratulations!

Oh, that haughty and malevolent look. Smith captured Magneto's essence here. And what a crisp rendering. I love how he drew the hand. Sweet piece. Congrats!
