Description

Double page spread by Jae Lee and inked by Bob Wiacek. Namor Issue 26 pages 11 and 12 from January 1992. Issue written by John Byrne.

I have had these pages for many years and finally adding them to my gallery (Nick Barrucci asked where the Namor pages were so I thought I would finally add this).

Unrelenting Jae Lee action sequence! The smaller panels just make the large image of Namor look even bigger and more grandiose to dominate the double pager!

Jae Lee from this period was far less nuanced/subtle.. and for me that's perfect. He was bold and the inking was always a highlight. Love this!

Losing Byrne penciling his own Namor series wasn't cool at all, but getting Jae Lee as his replacement sure as hell was, I mean lookit that DPS, congrats!
