Marcus, thanks for posting these pics! I've never been to a con with art before and this was like a mini virtual tour. Greatly appreciated! Qq: at the donnellys booth are the post-it notes descriptions, prices!?! Or both?
It's both. They put so many pieces of post its, they are afraid one falls off and put on another piece.
These are just the art on the wall displays with high priced art to grab your attention. They will have portfolios on tables to look through.
I wonder are they people you can have a nice chat with or are they strictly all business?
For all dealers, comics or Art, Time is money and they only have the show hours to make sales. I would say that if their table is busy, then no. If no one is there, chat away. He might think that you're buying something though and need help. Just don't get offended if there's a customer that would take precedence and the dealer gets pulled away. People get offended for less and give dealers a bad reputation for being rude. You can always chat more outside of a con through their social media or email. If you've bought from them before, that's your opening.
