This is an original work by the artist and illustrator "Craig" (A.C.) Farley, inspired by the novel by the note SF author C.J. Cherryh. Craig, in 1985, like most aspiring commercial artists of the day wanting to specialize in science fiction...needed to create portfolio pieces that would show off their talent. And that's how this large and colorful work came to be produced.

"Merchanter's Luck" is a major work in acrylic on masonite, 24" x 36". It is signed and dated '85 by the artist bottom right.
