DescriptionMore than 20 years ago I produced three comics which made up my Springheeled Jack series, based on the myth, I turned my version into an alien entity. I loved the idea of an otherworldly creature stalking the rooftops of a fog strewn Victorian London. Later, to my surprise, the series garnered an Eagle Award for best black and white comic. The series was noticed by Alan Moore, who wrote me a great quote. So, of course I had to self publish again, in a hardback book this time. The series sold out of my initial print of 500 copies, but went on to be reprinted, along with the addition of colour by Reed Comics. More recently it was reprinted in its original black and white form, with a slightly larger format. I believe this Titan Books reprint is available at Forbidden Planet and online sources. So, eventually, I had to have a bust made didn’t I? ;) the sculpt is by Michael WhiteSocial/Sharing |
