Seven issues in to his classic 5-year run. Tough to score these early pages. Nice pick up buddy!

There goes Bill again, selling this page short. First and foremost, it is Byrne inked by Byrne! This is also Byrne doing an homage to the Poltergeist movie from 1982.
This is the issue with the first appearances of:
Roberta the robot receptionist of the Baxter Building.
Wendy, the girl you see on this very page standing in for the "They're Here." girl.
Wendy's Friends, the swirling demons you see here.
Dame Ruth Efford standing in for the old lady psychic.
Petunia Grimm - Ben's oft mentioned Aunt Petunia.
So birthy and claimy in every (non-) sense of the words!

To me, it's more of an "HOMAGE" to The Wizard of Oz with the tornado that lands Dorothy into a crazy, way off land.

Besides an FF #236 page, I'd want a Wendy's Friends page as cool as this, congrats!

I regard this, and the story its from, to be among Byrnes finest work on FF.

This page just screamed Stephen King to me. Anyone else?
