Description

I love all of Jae's early work, especially the great run on Namor, his first regular series job in the comic biz ! I adore the nice and sharp inked (by himself) underseae-battleships in the first panel and space-like last panel. Featured are also Namor's mother Princess Fen and his old friend and advisor Vashti. Namor not only had a long "Lobo"-like hairstyle in those early 1990s issues but also an earring :) Look up my other Jae Lee pages if you like what you see here !

Excellent techniques used here showing in darkness what we can see. The ships, the screen tone on the control room, the powerful close ups, and the explosions are meticulously drawn and presented like cut scenes. The tense battle page is amped up with Jae Lee's exectution of his vision.
