DescriptionThere is something both light and almost bittersweet in this splash - the years that passed retold in a single image embellished by just few words. Looking back at it, the page makes the death of Courtney Ross in #5 even more painful in retrospect. And incredibly powerful too. Thanks to Gary on that one !Social/Sharing |

Sweet! Love that title. And what a great image to start. Congrats!

Great splash! Better than the cover image. Davis really captures the fashions and hairstyles of the time as the photo shows.

Amusing. I was considering that one and thought nobody but me cared about it. SUCH a great splash!

You know this is great, not just because of the art (although that would be enough) but I love the text as well. Congrats.

I have looked at this one so many times I feel like it was almost every day since RGL posted it. I think that's my way of saying I really love this page and I'm really happy you were able to add it to your fantastic collection. It has a perfect amount of Alan Davis appeal, the lettering is wonderful and I like that it says that Claremont and Davis are the creators in the bottom left. A truly special page! Huge congrats!

You know it's going to be a cool story, when it starts with Paul Simon. Oh, that is a fantastic splash that tells the tale of what's to come. Crazy, crazy. Another awesome Alan Davis splash in your collection. Big congrats!

Is that a scepter in your hand or are you just happy to see me?

Classic early Excalibur image! I remember it distinctly, and agree - "bittersweet" is the perfect word in context of the story. Congrats!

Lovely splash. Reflection of good times, though sadness, knowing how it eventually ends.
