Description
From the early time of Jim's career comes this adventure into fear with Man-thing !

Paired with Rich Buckler's inks these pages are fascinating and a visual proof of Jim Starlin's skills with a pen & a board !

Here is the classic end page and dramatic finale.

Huge thanks to the best coolest dude dealer there is on this small planet, the one & only Romitaman !!

great layout and black sillhouettes.  I love the loose inking on the pants in panel 1.

The shadows says so much to carve him as a part of that spooky environment.  The little circle glint off the eyes give Man-Thing that puppie dog stare which is designed win you over.

I love this page. It has all the features you want from a great Man-Thing page - the tag line about burning at the Man-Thing's touch over some charred body, a great inset panel of his emotionless face to emphasise his role in maintaining some sort of order in the world, and a shot of him lumbering away from the scene of destruction. Perfect.
