I don't know if Hap Hazzard was a popular story in 2000ad, but I always loved it. It felt like it should have been published in Deadline Magazine, which Steve of course set up with Brett Ewins. Two absolute legends.

80's UK sensibilities reflecting the mood of the empire. The fashions are accurate and so is the tone of the story to show where the creators thought the country was heading towards.
