DescriptionHell on Earth: Reign of the Black Flame storyline. This is from the 2nd book of that arc.After Howards launches into a bloody lonewolf assault on Zinco soldiers, the remaining BPRD troops are shocked into action when one of their own gets downed by a bullet to the head. Lots of Harren's typically varied of inking/finishing techniques applied on this page, including a pasted modification of BRPD folks' shock reactions in the second panel; that image is only held on by 2 small pieces of tape so I could peek at the image underneath and it really shows how particular he is because the original version was already pretty great. Heroic bloodshed! The hail of bullets and curtains of smoke connect with the theme of the page. Harren's focus on the right spots of the each panel move the embedded audience along with the team.
