Death is presented by Gala to bring symbolism and playfulness in the visual cues and hidden details. With a name such as "The Sound of Her Wings", you may have initially thought those black wings are hers. Gala disguises this with the carefully placed wings of the two birds. The smile coming off Death is the artist giving a tell to the audience. Add the details of the cat, the umbrella, and the background all done with various shades and textures and you have a great pin up study that is more than just any pin up.
