Description

Billy Graham's debut page on Sabre, written by Don McGregor, recapping the story so far (an unofficial sequel to McGregor's Killraven work).

In pencil and red ink over vellum.

These inks differ slightly from the published version inked by George Freeman (including nudity edited out). Not clear what these were, but likely the original pencils, which were then partially inked after publication by Graham himself with red pen. Some of the text was changed in the published version as well.

18 X 24 vellum affixed by tape onto two bristol boards.

High quality 80's indie art is getting better appreciated for their quality and for the more adult appeal. This self contained recap piece showcases Graham's design sense as the story flows so fluidly with suggestive images.

What a great set of panels! Always loved Sabre both Paul's art and Billy Graham's. Congrats!
