Artist: Mamoru Uchiyama (died 2011) know for his ultraman manga

Series: Onimaru Swordsman Sword based of the 1987 novel by Keiichiro Ryu. The story takes place in Shinshu Province (Nagano). A young swordmaker, Kiyomaro, tries to protect his master's name, Onomaru. Kiyomaro must fold the few swords he can as a gang, who have a grudge against his master tries, to stop him.

Lots of screentones and lots of speed lines to indicate swift and deadly strikes. The audience is seeing this scene as the person attacking the figure.
