Description
Sebastian is a photographer in India. He shot a series of an old style of home that is very reminiscent of where my family comes from and how they used to live. I was particularly struck by this image.

“Sebastian Cortés chanced upon Sidhpur, an almost abandoned and now little-known Gujarati town with a rich heritage and a distinctive vernacular architecture. He began to photograph the traditional habitats and domestic spaces of a comparatively lesser-known Islamic community, the Bohras.”

Bro, the site is called COMIC art fans. Not random photograph fans.

Don't care about others. That photograph is wonderful. It reminds me somehow to the colours of Frank Frazetta. Many thanks for showing!

thanks for sharing regardless of comic-relatedness. i clicked over to the full article and some of those interior pics really remind me of extended family/aunties/grandmother on dad's side (RIP) homes I've visited as well. If only iPhones were a thing during my earlier visits

Fun Fact: When I opened the copy of Longshot #1 I picked up off the stands the day it hit my LCS, the first thing I did was look at the credits and then said to the store manager, "Holy shit, this is drawn by that guy who did special effects in the Marvel Fumetti book last year!"

Well, the first commenter is being kind of a jerk, but I love the photograph. ;) What amazing balance they've accomplished in this perfectly framed photo. I love the geometry of it, and the real feel of a peek into someone's culture. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing!
