Description(Landmark Entertainment, 1994). "These are the tales of the Skeleton Warriors!" begins this animated show which premiered on CBS on 2/23/94. This is massive original artwork used for the initial pitch to "sell the show" and get it "green lit." The artwork is from the hand of Claudio Mazzoli. Pitch art is always done by the most senior artists on staff. Claudio Mazzoli has a long-distinguished career in theme park and feature film design as well as studio art direction. He worked at WED - Walt Disney Imagineering and did a great deal of work at EPCOT on Spaceship Earth and Dinosaurs. He also did extensive work at Universal Studios Theme Park attractions like ET, Conan, and Back to the Future. He also was a major force on the movie Masters of the Universe. This is an amazing acrylic painting on heavy board measuring 40" x 30".Social/Sharing |

Very nice!!! He did some nice Masters of the Universe concept paintings for Landmark as well, I believe.
