I picked this lovely page up a couple weeks ago and watching the Comiclink auction tonight inspired me to post it!! The page itself is a wonderful masterpiece of our hero reminiscing at a campfire about his love Mariko. Scott Eaton does a masterful job reimagine some key scenes from the Clarmont/Byrne run where this flashback took place. The reason for my inspiration? Well seeing what some of the art that is most nostalgic to me like these Byrne stories is going for can make the average collector feel defeated and �priced out� �but the beauty is our comic creators love to flash back on our most nostalgic stories� so even if you can not get the Byrne page.. you can get the Eaton page telling that story!!

I've been writing Wolverine fan mail for over 8 years. This page finally explains the origins of Wolverine's laziness in responding. Eaton and Hennessy bring to light glimpses of Wolverine's journeys in an easy flow of panels that share similar themes of loneliness for a man that will outlive us all.

Great artwork here Jason and a nice insight posted by you in the description. I hope this hobby does not one day become cost prohibiitve to people wanting to enter it. They do indeed revisit past storylines and what a fantastic way to add unattainable items from our want lists.

Crossovers, flashbacks, recaps, these are the meat and potatoes of the collector crowd. It was a great scene when Byrne did it, and it's a great scene with Eaton, too. I wonder if Wolvie uses his claws to roast marshmallows. You know Nightcrawler or Beast has asked him! Great flashback page. Congrats!
