DescriptionDC Future State: Tanda (Black Racer) designsArt by Siya Oum DC Comics - 2021 I'm excited to add some artwork from Siya Oum. I first saw her work on Tatiana's site and loved seeing these designs Siya created for a brand new DC character she created with writer Jeremy Adams. Tanda first appeared in DC's Future State: Superman: Worlds of War #1 published March 2021. These are a mix of pencil and ink drawings done on 4 separate sheets of 8.5 by 11 inch paper plus a 5th sheet hashing out the character's look and feel and her mech! A parade of images with great design work. The designs are tight enough that you won't get a needle though.

It such a treat to be able to follow along with the artist's process here. I look forward to seeing more of Siya's work in the future.

These are really great concept sketches and designs. A Million times better than Kirby's ridiculous design!

Siya really took these in a great direction. I knew there was a Black Rider character previously but I don't read too much DC so I missed him. I was excited sited to see Siya working on bringing this new character to life and to see Tanda step in as the new Black Rider.
