Done in Oil on board 15 x 24 in. Signed lower right.

This illustration was published as the paperback cover for The Hidden Temple by Catherine Cooke, 1988.

It explores and builds the complex scene with clarity and subtelty.  It is truly crafted with care and inspiration on the composition to build the castle bedroom full of textures along with a striking beauty in peril.  Her eye contact provides more intrigue to effectively add a selling point.
