Description

"No more mutants!"...after Wanda said those words in house of M, it depowered the majority of the Mutants. Hope Summers was the first mutant born since Mday.
In AvX the phoenix force is returning looking for a new host, many believed to be Hope Summers. The Avengers led by Captain America want to take Hope into custody, while Cyclops disagrees believing Hope to be the next mutant Messiah.

This page is from Uncanny Xmen 11 page 6 showing the moment right before Scott shoots his optic blast at Steve and all out war breaks loose.
The interaction is narrated thru Namor's perspective which I found to be entertaining.
Really like the Land/Leisten combo

I had thought Namor was an odd fit for the X-Men when he was hanging around with them, but I distinctly remember this scene with his narration as the best explanation for why he was with them. A really great page!
