DescriptionExcited to have a Ramona interior page. At the size of an original page, you can see that she chose where to add in the detail and where to pull back. I's a great look that is hard to pin down.Not sure why but I always liked this version of the Freedom Fighters. They were full-on dysfunctional but I always thought they were interesting. Excited that the whole team is included in this page. Social/Sharing |

I also really liked this series for reasons I can't logically explain. Getting a complete set of this series in high grade was one of my mid-1990s collecting goals (I didn't have high aspirations), and I can still remember when I got issue #1 at a small show in a Holiday Inn in 1997 to complete the set. So, as you can imagine, I think this is a great page!

I think you just put your finger on one of the reasons I loved this series: it was one of the first ones that I found in the back issue bins when I found comic book stores. I can literally picture thumbing through the issues in a bin. Wow.

Fradon always gave you your money's worth with 70's art that was bright and fun. The team books were a great value and Freedom Fighters had Uncle Sam to appeal to the Bicentennial celebration fun of 1976!
