DescriptionJae Lee's art for Dreamwave's Transformers vs G.I. Joe (series set in WWII) was fantastic. He drew the Joes familiar yet unique for the series (having to re-imagine their costumes) and both Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander look especially great.This was drawn a few years ago and the inks still look wet. I like that Lee added the knight's sword to Snake Eyes in this sketch, just an extra little detail that adds a lot to the piece. Outside of my standard 'I only get commissions from artist who worked on Hama's GI Joe ARAH', this is very cool and I'm happy to add it to the collection. Jae makes him look like a Knight instead of a ninja. The signature looks like a knife.

You're right - in the TF vs Joe series, Snake Eyes scavenges both his visor and sword from an old suit of knight armor.

I love Jae's work on this Snake Eyes; so impressionistic and yet so bold. Wonderful pickup!
