Beautiful representation of the subject matter in a new and fresh way that doesn't need to play with traditional art to be effective. The clean and perfectly placed color work makes this an outstanding work of art.

Four down; 996 to go. The way he uses the gore and blood splatter to create dimensional space around Manji (whose white hakama remains clean?) is impressive.
