You called it on the blacks and shadows. As someone who really appreciates effective use of blacks, these RK strips are brilliant examples. But even on the stips where there's not so much light and shadow work, Raymonds clean lines are equally impressive.

Lovely crosshatching for the gradiation of backdrops that form a great contrast to the figures and faces so wrought with action and emotion to build the tension from peril.

I looked at this on Heritage and mulled over putting in an offer to the owner. Guess I will have to wait. Your collection is fairly black holish!
